The Tiger Cats have had an interesting and successful offseason. They’ve rid themselves of the Casey Printers situation and even more importantly they’ve secured a very good defensive coordinator in Greg Marshall. They’ve added some solid vets on the offensive line in Dan Goodspeed and Allen Gauthier and LB Otis Floyd on defense. <st1:City w:st="on">Toronto</st1:City> is trying to follow the success of <st1:City w:st="on"><st1lace w:st="on">Montreal</st1lace></st1:City> in bringing in an NFL team of coaches. While it worked in the Alouettes favor, history does not indicate that this is a guarantee of success. They’ve lost their defensive swagger and will hope that Kerry Joseph returns to some kind of form. In my mind Joseph is a very overrated QB, certainly he is an inaccurate passer. I’m a growing fan of <st1:City w:st="on"><st1lace w:st="on">Hamilton</st1lace></st1:City>’s QB, Quinton Porter, who had a 10-4 TD/interception ratio while compiling a 102 efficiency rating last season. At this stage I’d say the Cats are the more stable team and who woulda thunk that? They are at home in a big rivalry game, won two of three in the series last year and are dogs. I’ll take <st1:City w:st="on"><st1lace w:st="on">Hamilton</st1lace></st1:City> with the points.
